King of Africa’s Oil, Jubril Adewale Tinubu’ s Fine Grasp of Business Intricacies

Without a doubt, astute businessman and Group Chief Executive of Oando, Wale Tinubu, is the darling of many leaders and top executives across the globe. The reason for this is not farfetched. His contributions to the growth of the oil and gas industry continue to expand every day, even beyond the shores of the continent of Africa.

Expectedly, he has become the beautiful bride of many  others countries’ leaders  to whom he continues to share his brilliance and expertise in the oil and gas sector with.

A delight to watch when in the boardroom or engaged in anything concerning business, Tinubu usually leaves his watchers and admirers enthralled by his articulation and aplomb. He is graceful in his fine grasp of business intricacies, with a very strong sense of deep erudition in discussions, especially in the area of economic development in Nigeria.

Also, he has a deep fountain of knowledge and a shining light in the business firmament.

Just as the  Biblical saying in Proverbs 22: 29 that “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.”

The totality of his experience, versatility and expertise has endeared him  President who has fallen in love with him and always include him as one of the entourage in his foreign trips on many occasions.

It is no secret that the Group Chief Executive of Oando is  one of the few eminent individuals in the country who have the ears of President Mohammadu Buhari and has always enjoyed a good relationship with the President.

Those in the know disclosed that Tinubu, also a lawyer, is cerebral, the reason he is said to be one of the key members of the President’s economic team. It is recorded that Tinubu since the assumption of President Buhari he has traveled to major trips with him, particularly where the issue of oil, business and economics matter are being discussed and he has never found wanting, he has never lost his muse.

Last week, October 26, 2021, Tinubu was with the President Buhari at the just concluded 5th edition of Future Investment Initiative, Riyadh in Saudi Arabia where he once again showcased his dexterity and ingenuity.  The event Themed “Invest in Humanity,” the three-day event attracted more than 2,000 missions and 5,000 company leaders, policymakers, investors and innovators from across the world, where they discussed ways to invest in clean water, education, public health, gender equality and fighting poverty.

It would be recalled that Tinubu  celebrated the Eid-il-Kabir with the President at his Daura, Katsina home July this year.

To further affirm his belief and loyalty, the brilliant lawyer was among the first set of people that congratulated the President on his re-election in 2019, not only that shortly after Buhari received his Certificate of Returns from the INEC the OANDO boss paid him a visit at the Presidential Villa to commemorate with him.

He also posted their photograph on Twitter and Instagram page as he wrote:

‘’Congratulations PMB! Looking forward to 4 more years of the Common Sense Revolution- fighting corruption, improving security and recharging the economy’’

The Lagos State born billionaire started business very early in her life. Over the years, he has sown in sweats; so, it is not surprising that he is now reaping in bountiful harvests.

He has served as a business advisor and consultant to many other businessmen and governments in and outside Nigeria.

By virtue of his rare accomplishments, he is one of the few Nigerian businessmen who can rub shoulders with other top businessmen around the globe.

JCI Nigeria partners P&G, donate Sanitary Towels in the Celebration of the Girl-Child

As Nigeria joins the rest of the world to commemorate and celebrate the Girl Child, Junior Chamber International Nigeria in partnership with P&G paid a visit to Alapere Comprehensive High School to sensitize the Female Students and donate Sanitary Pads. Speaking at the event, The National President, JCI Nigeria – Abiola Olorunnisola encouraged female students to be upright, Diligent, Bold and Be Active Citizens in all their endeavors, adding that the future belongs to the youth.

Olorunnisola further reinstated the organization’s commitment to continuous support and collaboration for the betterment of the youths through education and other initiatives. ‘’We are committed to improving the state of the world by engaging in meaningful initiatives in our immediate environment.

Also speaking at the gathering, the Local President of JCI Ikeja, Tricia Inalu charged the girls to ensure they pay due attention to themselves, their body and take care of their mental health.

Amongst JCI Nigeria delegates that were present at the donation event are Director of Projects, JCI Ikeja – Ruth Oriyomi Idowu; Director of Membership Services and Awards, JCI Ikeja – Wunmi Fakoya and other Members of the Organisation.

The Sensitization was followed by the distribution of Sanitary Towels. The Principal of the School, expressed his profound gratitude for the existing relationship and usual support to the School.

It will be recalled that 10 Blocks of Modern Toilets were also donated to the School in the month of June 2021 by JCI Ikeja. The President of JCI Ikeja, Tricia Inalu assured the Principal and the Students of the Organization’s continuous supports.

JCI Nigeria has been involved in different developmental projects all across the states of the federation, driving and providing development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change.

  Siju Iluyomade Begins Distribution of ‘Arise Pink Bucket’ Palliative Across Nigeria

In a bid to bring succor to the less privileged in the society, Arise Women, led by Dr Siju Iluyomade has put everything in place to begin the distribution of its ‘Pink Bucket’, a food basket to serve as palliatives for millions of people across the country.

The package which consists of a couple of items like Spaghetti, Rice, Tomato paste, groundnut Oil among other things will be the content in a pink bucket, which is now a regular activity of Dr. Iluyomade’s way of reaching out to lots of underprivileged tagged ‘Arise Pink Bucket’ (APB), will commence on December 4th officially.

Though the distribution of the buckets started on 1st of December during Dr. Iluyomade’s championed Handmaidens weekly event at the COD Redeemed Christian Church of God, Victoria Island, were people trooped in to pick up the ‘Arise Pink Bucket’ palliatives, the distribution to Local Governments across the Country later during the week.

Over 3million of ‘Arise Pink Buckets’ are expected to be distributed in many parts of the country in the next few weeks according to Dr. Iluyomade.

Kaffy Foundation boss, Kafayat Abass chairs Ojodu Primary School Inter-house Sport, Urges Ojodu LCDA’s Support for Education

The CEO of popular Kaffy Charity Foundation in Nigeria, Omowunmi Kafayat Abass yesterday chaired the 2021 edition of Ojodu Primary School inter house-sport in Lagos. Kaffy was accompanied to the colourful event by some supporters of Iyalaje Oodua to give her support due to her kind gesture towards the growth of her Alma mater.

In her speech, Kaffy urged the Ojodu Local Government chairman Mr. Olusegun Odunmbaku to support the Primary School with a bus for the comfort of the pupils.

Kaffy noted, “since last year I have been using her personal car to drive down the students every morning, though am running my foundation to help the needy that is why I offer my personal car for the gesture.

This medium reported that Kaffy supported Ojodu primary school pupils for the inter-house sport with all the necessary items to make the occasion colorful, she also gave out exercises books, food etc.

Meanwhile, Oladapo Sofowora who represented Iyalaje Oodua, Princess Toyin Kolade, pledged on her behalf to give the school a new gate for the growth and betterment of the school, he advised the pupils to focus on their studies pointing out that education is the best legacy.

Mrs M.O Oyenira the headteacher of Ojodu primary school said this year’s edition is so significant because of the personalities that graced the occasion, she appreciated Kaffy foundation and Iyalaje Oodua and chairman of the occasion Mr. Sulaiman for their love and kind gesture.
