REVEALED: WHY APC LEADERSHIP SHOULD NULLIFY PARTY’S GUBERNATORIAL PRIMARIES

Published

on

The APC Anambra gubernatorial primary elections have been declared unacceptable by the party members and major stakeholders following the recent discovery of election malpractice. According to reputable sources within the party, it has been discovered that Sen Andy Ubah, the presumed winner of the June 26 poll conspired with the governor of Imo state, Hope Uzodinma to hamper the free, fair and peaceful execution of the party primary elections.

Following the announcement of a landslide victory of the unpopular Sen Andy Ubah suspicions of foul play began to rise. A formal complaint was filed by other aspirants, and an immediate investigation was launched. It was then determined that Sen Andy Ubah, with the help of Governor Hope Uzodinma, had lobbied the members of the primaries committee to alter the results in his favour. The ongoing investigation suggests that the chairman of the committee, Dapo Abiodun (Ogun state governor), was reportedly bullied by Andy Ubah and Hope Uzodinma to tamper with the electoral process.

It was also gathered that no election was held in many wards around the state and there has been no singular evidence to prove otherwise. The hierarchy within the party was also discovered to be oblivious of the turnout of the elections. These findings beg the obvious question, how did the results come about?

A cross-examination of Anambrarians revealed that APC had already begun to gain grounds and earn the trust of Anambrarians through the works of aspirants like Hon Azuka Okwuosa, Chief Ben Etiaba and Godwin Okonkwo. The general opinion of Andy Ubah is a greedy politician who is out to siphon government funds. “If a candidate like Hon Azuka Okwuosa is declared winner, he would have had a lot more support, but Andy Ubah’s mysterious victory is quite shady,” one of the party’s supporters remarked.

Due to the inability of the party’s leadership to vouch for the validity of the posted results, party members and aspirants have called upon them to nullify the results. They stressed that the party should not support a skewed and biased outcome based on fraudulent elections. In order to fulfill the party’s initial intention of a flawless and honest process, a new committee should be constituted to conduct the primary election at a later date. In their belief, this will put the party back on track to winning the hearts of all Anambrarians.

Despite the fact that a new date for a new election is still to be set, party supporters have expressed satisfaction and gratitude for the leadership’s decision and stance against election rigging. They are, without a doubt, highly optimistic that a deserving candidate will emerge victorious from the new election.

Politician and Business man,  Ademola T. Ajibola Launches ATAjere, to Share 500,000 Naira Among Petty Traders

The ATA Movement, a socio-political platform led by the young and upwardly mobile entertainment consultant and serial entrepreneur, Ademola Titilopemi Ajibola, had concluded plans to commence her #ATAjere program, a market invasion created to alleviate and complement the economic development of market women across different markets of Ibadan.

ATA’JERE (which translates to SUCCESS IN TRADE) is one of the many programmed on the ATA AGENDA which Ademola projects. The first edition is set to give 50 market women and men, 10,000 naira cash support to add as business aids to boost whatever they sell.

This edition will launch at the popular APATA market of the Ibadan South West LGA on Saturday, July 3rd, 2021 and the train will move on a periodic basis to other markets within the Ibadan South West/North West Federal Constituency.

ATAjerey

For ATA as Ajibola is fondly called, “There is no better time to start this activation than now. Sometimes last year, I was a part of a charity project, THE MADE MEN, that stormed some markets and it breaks ones heart to see that some people’s whole tray of wares is less than 5,000 naira. That experience was an eye opener for me as to the pains people go through. 5,000 naira  like 10 dollars. How much profit does such person want to make to survive in this tough realities?”. These are some of the reasons why I told myself that whenever I can afford to push for it, I will do my best to support people within my community in my own small ways, to assist and that’s why this project was created”.

This has no political/tribal coloration to this segment of my agenda as I’m doing it solely as a commitment I’ve had in plans for people with or without any return. Earlier in June this year, I did a debate competition that had 20 students drawn from 10 secondary schools compete, with 2 students going home with Laptops, some getting Jamb Forms support, 2 students went home with 30,000 naira and 20,000 respectively, amongst others”. I do what I feel makes my society better and I’m hopeful I’d do more as God spread my wings. It’s time to act, remembering well that the government can’t do all”.

While many are strongly clamoring for ATA to play actively in the 2023 general elections, the Oke-Ado-born articulate speaker is yet to make an official declaration as to where he is headed, even though his works and personality are becoming more pronounced in the Ibadan.

JUST IN: OKWUOSA IS APC LUCKY STAR, ANAMBRA WILL REJOICE – PROPHET SOLOMON AMADI

“I am not comfortable with APC but if God has chosen Okwuosa for Anambra, who am I to object.” These were the exact words of Prophet Solomon Amadi, a renowned prophet and leader of the Life Transformation Ministries, in a press conference held on June 24, 2021. Speaking with the members of the Youth Nation, he attested to a series of visions he has had in respect to the ideal successor of the incumbent governor.

The events in the state, he claims, compelled him to conduct a supernatural investigation into God’s intention for Anambra. “I prayed God to show me his will for Anambra, the one who will turn Anambra into a true light of the nation, and Azuka Okwuosa keeps popping up,” he stated.

He also mentioned that, prior to his God-wards investigation, he had never heard of Azuka Okwuosa because he had personally opted not to get involved in politics. However, his revelation prompted him to conduct some study, and the findings corroborated his visions.

The Prophet stated that he has discovered Okwuosa to be a gentleman with a servant’s heart and a heart of love, which are attributes that a true leader should possess. He also asserted that Okwuosa’s rising popularity, which had eluded him for so long, will continue to grow into an overwhelming force that no other contender will be able to match.

On a broader scope, this is not the first time visions of Okwuosa are coming to light. Earlier in May, the Anglican Bishop of the Awka Diocese, His Lordship Most Rev. Chibuzo Ibezim made known his vision of Okwuosa’s impending victory. He credited him as a man who is committed to God’s mission, and he will carry out God’s purpose in Anambra.

Finally, Prophet Solomon urged Anambrarians and APC supporters to rally behind Hon Azuka Okwuosa, saying that he is the man God has selected to lead Anambra to a new level of development. The outcome of the APC primaries on June 26 will determine how far Prophet Solomon’s vision will be realized.

ANAMBRA 2021: AZUKA OKWUOSA’S VICTORY WILL BE A THREAT TO US – APGA, PDP & YPP

Alarms have gone in the camps of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and People’s Democratic Party (PDP), as the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial primary elections draw nearer.

The APC’s opposition groups have particularly expressed their concerns about one of the party’s candidates, Hon Azuka Okwuosa – an aspirant whose chances of winning were possibly not well estimated by the competition at the start of the race.

Since his entry into the governorship contest, Hon Azuka Okwuosa, the APC’s leading gubernatorial aspirant, has displayed a strong ambition to drive development and progress in Anambra to the benefit of Anambrarians.

His track record of political skill, business savvy, and charismatic leadership distinguishes him from the vast majority of the aspirants within APC and beyond. In light of his history and progress in the contest, some have argued that Okwuosa has the makings of the governor needed in Anambra at this point in time.

This issue has caused opposition party stakeholders to fear that if Okwuosa wins the APC primaries, their prospects of winning the election will be cut in half.

To the opposition’s chagrin, Hon Okwuosa has amassed a sizable following among Anambra natives and Anambrarians abroad. The turnout of supporters at his just concluded ward tour and the mammoth crowd of youths that have graced his rallies lend validity to the opposition’s fears.

It is safe to say that Okwuosa has enchanted Anambrarians with his pleasant aura and genuine desire to repair his beloved damaged state.

As intimidating as his followership size may be, it is not the singular cause for alarm. Okwuosa has received irreversible endorsement from several notable individuals, groups and associations.

The majority of the state’s youngsters, women, traders, religious leaders, and monarchs have enlisted their support for his pursuit of the governorship seat.

He has also built relationships and formed long term collaborations with major stakeholders and key industry players by convincing them of his willingness and ability to pull off a dramatic transformation of Anambra state.

The oppositions are well aware that Azuka Okwuosa has done his homework and his blueprint for the state’s development is a proof.

Rather than focus on developing an ambiguous and lengthy profile, as is in the nature of many politicians, he has clearly itemised his proposed plan for pushing Anambra into a new level. Okwuosa’s agenda leaves no stone unturned, as he intends to revamp and maximise every part of the economy, from infrastructure to agriculture, and even the film industry – something no other candidate has been able to adequately articulate to this point.

Another point of contention for the opposition is that a candidate with such a laser-like focus on the governorship election will undoubtedly limit the activities of corrupt officials within the system and direct funds only to key areas.

His down-to-business approach to governance makes him unpopular among some of the bad eggs in the political space.

As a result of the looming threat, trustworthy sources have indicated that some opposition members have been lobbying APC members to vote against Okwuosa in the party’s primary on June 26; a scheme that would almost certainly fail.

What matters most is that Anambrarians have identified a man who is genuinely committed to their welfare; a man that is keeping other aspirants on their toes. APC is expected to put their best foot forward by fielding the candidate who is not only qualified for the job, but poses a grave threat to the opposition.
