According to the Executive Producer “Afrobeat artists are widely known and admired with their lives in the public eye, rarely does the question of the “AFROBEATMAKERS” come in”.
“AFROBEATMAKERS” will spotlight the producers and innovators of the rhythmic instrumentals who are the overseers behind the entire production of the hit songs garnering worldwide appeal.
This docu-series will shed light on what inspires the music producer’s craft, the African sound and how these underrated talents continue to thrive despite the ever-rising competition in the industry.
Afrobeatmakers will profile the talented hitmakers world with interviews and rarely scene footage behind every production including their favorite ‘go to’ instrument, the lives of brains behind afrobeat as well as hardworking rookies in a bid to increase the appreciation accorded to African producers”.
