ALAO AKALA’s DEATH IS A PERSONAL LOSS – BABJAH

Frontline real estate developer and innovative businessman, Amb. Babatunde Oladejo has joined tons of associates and friends to mourn the demise of the former governor of Oyo State, Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala, who died yesterday.

Amb. Babatunde Oladejo popularly known as BabJah in a statement obtained today said “I received the news of the demise of my political daddy, the Oyato Governor, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala, Omo Iya Alaro, and I must say the news left me shattered all day long. That’s why it took me over 24 hours to even release a statement because I keep expecting a piece of different news. He is from my hometown so he is my kinsman and apart from that his son, Olamiju, is my close friend and great associate, so this loss is really personal”.

“Otunba did a whole lot for his people and for Oyo State as a whole. Today, one of the biggest residential and commercial hubs in Ibadan, the NEW GARAGE/ELEBU expressway way which is popularly known as Akala Expressway is one of the many wonders this generous man of the people developed. Even his critics will agree with me that he did well. The messages and outpouring of love and prayers since the announcement show how loved he was”.

“I pray for all my brothers and sisters from Ogbomosho for the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss as Alao Akala was our biggest political tree under which many people we getting rest and cover. I pray God in his infinite mercy will grant him eternal rest. Amen”. He concluded.

BabJah, an upwardly mobile entrepreneur per excellence who has been giving the “Ojo’ola OGBOMOSHO” appellation has been doing a lot for the Ogbomosho divide of Oyo state. During the last Christmas and New Year festivities, over 500 indigent families were touched with foodstuff and more under his BabJah Growth Initiative series while his company, WESTGATE HOMES, has been building boreholes across the city of Ogbomosho in a bid to bring comfort to homes for his people.
