Sequel to the viral story about Chief Justice Olukayode Ariwoola being sighted in London pretending to be a physically-challenged old man for the purpose of a clandestine preparation for a meeting with President-elect Bola Tinubu, an eyewitness who was with the Chief justice on the same journey has debunked the rumours and claimed that it holds no waters.

Recall that Sahara Reporters who have been known for fake news and propaganda was the first to break the news of Mr Tinubu arriving in London. Sahara reporters claim that Mr Tinubu`s team claimed it was a relaxation trip after a hectic campaign that preceded his declaration as Nigeria’s president-elect last month. Mr Tinubu kept his trip to London secret until it was exposed on Wednesday afternoon by Sahara Reporters, saying the trip was a medical emergency.
Going forward, The Gazette and some other news platforms also learnt that Mr Ariwoola departed Nigeria on March 11 via Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja. He was pushed in a wheelchair through the terminals to board a British Airways flight.

Upon arrival in London, Mr Ariwoola, 64, was also wheeled into a hotel downtown, where he has remained ever since. But immediately after checking into the hotel, Mr Ariwoola abandoned his wheelchair and started moving around the facility unaided, the Gazette reported.

On a contrary, however, the eyewitness whose name is R. A. Lawal Rabana, SAN, claimed he was on the same flight with the CJN and the story in viral is nothing but a fake new and propaganda.

“I was on the same BA flight with CJN on the night of 22nd march arriving Abj early morning of 23rd .

There is absolutely no truth in the stories making round . Any one familiar with Heathrow airport know it’s normal for people to move from a boarding gate to another in a cart or wheelchair.

I personally chatted with the CJN and he mentioned He was in London for a brief Medical check . He was accompanied by the Secretary of NJC .

How can this be a secret trip or disguised trip .

Enough of this wicked and unfounded stories about the CJN.

R. A. Lawal Rabana, SAN”
