For Barr. Siju Iluyomade, her compassion for the downtrodden knows no bounds, putting smiles on their faces keeps her going. To further cater for the needs of the needy, she kick started her Non Government Organization [NGO] Arise Women Foundation. Not only that, Siju as she’s fondly called, is known to have nurtured charitable hopes and determination to help women thrive excellently in life. She institutionalized the annual Women in Leadership Series (HWILS) to breed women leaders of international repute.
As she celebrates her 57th birthday today the 8th of January 2020, the delectable Lawyer of 36 years post bar experience has assisted and supported not fewer than 40,000 households and individuals within the space of 10 months. Her annual Arise Women Conference, can conveniently boast of empowerment, human capacity building and National development at large in the last 13years of its existence. Hospitals, School buildings, Computerized Library, Boreholes are some of the many infrastructures the women conference has handed to Communities like; Dafara, Kabusa in Abuja, Ondo, Imo, Kebbi and Lagos State.
The ever supportive wife to Pastor Idowu Iluyomade of Redeem Christian Church of God, City of David has constantly given succor to the less privileged in the Country regardless of ethnic, tribe or religion. Dr Siju’s intervention to the plight of Coronavirus patients and less privilege in this very challenging time came very handy at a time the Government is seeking support from corporate and individual bodies. Arise did not only donate Ventilators, it distributed several medical equipment including protective suits, KN95 masks, infrared thermometers as well as food stuffs to Isolation Centres in Lagos State.
Over the past few weeks, in a build up to her birthday, Siju’s Arise Pink Bucket, donated items consisting of food items like; rice, groundnut oil, Tomato paste among others across many parts of Lagos State. The food item serves as palliatives for the less privileged in the society. With over seven Local Government in Lagos State already benefited from the largesse, The stylish pastor still basking in the euphoria of her birthday devoid of fanfare has reiterated her commitment to keep spreading the tentacles of her outreach to other part of the country in a bid to keep affecting her immediate environment positively through love and charity.
