That the nuptial vow between one-time love birds; Gumsu Sanni-Abacha and Governor of Yobe state; Mai Mala Buni has crashed is not a new story as she made the statement via a post on a social media platform where she disclosed that she is no longer bound by nuptial vow with the Yobe State Governor due to irreconcilable differences between them. It was gathered that the union of over two years broke as both parties agreed to handle it maturely not making a fuss about it or generating media buzz so they quietly went their separate ways.
Gumsu seems to have picked up the pieces of her heart and moved on with life in quest for happiness and her mental health as she has declined to speak about the real cause the union hit the rock. A few years ago, the daughter of the former Military Head of State; General Sanni Abacha also broke up from her first marriage to Cameroon-born Billionaire husband Bayero Fadil after twenty years of nuptial bliss. Sources say Gumsu is still nursing the pain from the crash of both marriages but she is trying hard to protect her heart waiting for the right man who will love her for who she is and also love her regardless of her flaws. Away from that; she spends more time with her children and family in a bid to get over the thought as a result of the marriage crash. She has promised to continue to love, enjoy and pamper herself by globetrotting till she is ready to give love a chance again.
