Grill Fest Gidi Party is a music concert organized by Mediatank Entertainment, several youths, business owners and SMEs who come together to network, collaborate, grow and vybe, while also getting reinvigorated grills foods and drinks. This year’s event was in collaboration with the Executive Chairman of Ifako Ijaiye Local Government, Prince Usman Akanbi Hamzat. The event started with a novelty match on Friday 10th December which was between Team Grillfest which includes: Nollywood star Tope Adebayo, Skit maker Ekiti Father and Host of other celebrities. The Outsiders team was lead by the chairman who manned the goal post.
On Saturday the African Church Primary School was filled with vendors who featured their goods, products and services at the trade Fair session. Brands of various niches featured with sales to customers and attendees. This year’s edition was successful with the support of several brands such as The Unique Ayos, Timako Farms, Mama Gold and others.
The show was hosted by TV Host Sheye Banks with several hypemen such as Hypeman Advantage, Hypeman Rico
Hypeman July and several others thrilled the audience with funky vibes. Music was administered to the audience by DJ Orchido and DJ Rasquie.
Some of the artiste who performed at the event are Terry Apala, Reminisce, Mo Gevson, Jaido P, Eljay, Beambo, Oladapo, Shorae More, Amaka and many more others.
The chairman Prince Usman Akanbi Hamzat expressed his gratitude to all youths in the local government for the great support towards the event. He promised to support many other initiatives of the youths in every positive vibes.
Moreso, the founder of Grillfest Ayokunle Okuneye from his speech appreciate everyone who supported this year’s edition and promised a better event next year. The Chief Media Head, Adesina Kasali (medullar) also in his speech gives thanks to God for a successful event and the comportment and support of the youths in the area towards the planning of the event.
