Hitting a new age of 70 is quite a significant milestone that anyone would be happy for, especially at a time when the life expectancy span of Nigerians falls between 52 years but reaching the age of 70 is no child’s play it calls for serious celebration. Olori Yetunde who is the wife of Olugbo of Ugbo; Oba Fredrick Enitiolorunda Obateru Akinruntan, the stylish and wealthy Prescribed Authority and paramount ruler of riverine area Ugbo in Ilaje-Ese-Odo, Ondo State who is also the Chairman and Founder of Obat Oil.
When Olori Yetunde celebrated her 60thbirthday on Sunday the 5th of May 2013, she had a loud celebration with a high-octane shindig where she converged those who matter most in the country to celebrate her to the high heavens. It was a very interesting soiree that those who attended commended on the royalty treatement they were given. Eboni Band made sure guests were serenaded with good music as they all had fun to the fullest as Comedian Seyi Law ensured those who attended were cracked with jokes that made them laugh off their sorrows. But celebrating her 70th birthday, she decided to take a different dimension devoid of loud fanfare as she opted for a very private family celebration at her private Lagos residence. She was hosted by her children, grand-children and in-laws as Pastor Ituah Ighodalo presided over a small service and prayed for the birthday girl ushering her in the way of God into her new age and also thanking God for the gift of Life by sparing her to see many more years on mother earth. After prayers, the ever-bubbling Olori also had a private lunch with her immediate family in merriment. Sources say; the children are planning to host a big birthday soiree before the year runs to an end.
