In this recent days of social media frenzy, there are different trend on social media as youths, who are tech savvy jump on various trending comversations by getting creative with it. In the past few weeks, there have been different trending issues on popular social media app, Tik Tok and Twitter, e.g Bussit, Don’t Leave Me, Silhouette Challange and many more.
Few days ago, it was #Buss It challange, derived from a song. Several ladies jumped on the trend by vibing to the hiphop by twerking. They would wear revealing and sexy outfit and dance to the song. The challange stayed ontop of the conversation for close to 3 weeks. When we thought we had seen it all then came the current viral Silhouette Challange, currently taking the media space.
Lot’s of female are getting creative with it. The stand In front of a door, vibing to the song like a stripper with a red light on the background they look like shadows. Some go as far as vibing to the song naked. Some observers on Twitter and tiktok have condemned the silhouette trend as it promotes nudity and some obscene footage. According to lexical meaning, A silhouette is the image of a person, animal, object or scene represented as a solid shape of a single colour, usually black, with its edges matching the outline of the subject.
