The Group Chief Executive of Oando Plc, unlike some others, usually prefers to reflect on his birthdays for very good reasons, but a reliable source disclosed that the birthday celebrations were devoid of fanfare, it was low-key. Unlike some members of his billionaires’ class, he is neither given to frivolities nor any form of revelry.
A source disclosed that the trained lawyer celebrated in the United Kingdom with his wife and children as they had dinner together, as a very busy man, he was able to spare that special moment with them.
It was also hinted that many of his friends, business associates as well as mentees, fans and admirers did not forget the day as encomiums, goodwill and birthdays messages came in torrents
The reason is the “birthday boy” means so many things to so many people in and outside the country.
Notably among some of his friends was the chairman of Heirs Holding, Tony Elumelu who praised Tinubu on his Instagram account.
He wrote: ‘Happy Birthday to the face of corporate Nigeria. My great friend and bro.’
