While many thought it was going to be the regular Lagos party celebration hosted at a highbrow location on the island, Afolabi dragged the whole of Lagos to his hometown in Ijebu-Ode for a three days 60th birthday party.
It was indeed a celebration like a movie as he also commissioned his all over 5 million Dollars white jaw-dropping palatial heaven on earth architectural wonderment country home in Ijebu-Ode GRA sitting on over an acre of land, dedicated and handed over Samson Afolabi Anglican Church to the memory of his late father to the Anglican Diocese in Ijebu-Ode and hosted a grand 60th Birthday soiree. The three-day event also had an All-white oldies party for his friends, a dinner at his mansion and on Sunday, he dedicated the church and officially opened the Country Home with Royal fathers, Business moguls and A-list guests in attendance.
