Brand
managers across the continent of Africa are set to storm Nigeria for
the 4th edition of Africa Brand Congress ABC. The congress is an annual
fiesta to best brains behind most successful and sought after African
brands. The theme of this year’s congress is “Africa is the Future of
Great Brands”, holding on 31st May, 2018 at Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.
According
to the convener, Mr. Desmond Esorougwe, the Congress is designed to
educate, engage and inspire Brand Managers and professionals in the
pursuit of best practice in brand building and value creation. It will
also provide an avenue or appropriate platform for all brand owners and
industry players to discuss how brands in Africa can increase their
global competitiveness.

The
Congress would also afford the brand managers a rear opportunity of
showcasing their brands to the world during Brand Showcase/Exhibition
session. The Brand Showcase/Exhibition is an initiative that seek to
showcase ideas, goods and invention to various type that are original
and creative as well as those with the potential for enterprises and
return on investment.
Meanwhile,
on the Congress day, CEO’s of businesses, brands, products and services
as well as public officers that have excelled and demonstrated uncommon
initiative, drive and leadership in Africa economy will be honoured
with African Brand Leadership Merit Awards.
Mr. Esorougwe further
said that the winners of these awards would have made an outstanding
contribution to the development of the continent, the economic
aspiration of its citizenry and the transformation of Africa’s image in
the international markets while displaying high standard of good
corporate citizenship, social and environmental responsibilities.
