Breaking News: Lagos State Deputy Governor Elect, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat Loses Dad.
The Deputy Governor Elect of Lagos State, Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat has lost his father. The entire Hamzat family are mouring the passage of a loving and caring role model of a father and grand father. Alhaji Mufutau Olatunji Hamzat died on the evening of Sunday, 12 May 2019.
He was in his mid-80s. The late Hamzat was a member of the Governors Advisory Council (GAC) of Lagos State and one of the elders of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He was the former National Vice Chairman of the Allaince for Democracy (AD) before it metamorphosed into Action Congress (AC), Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and now APC.
He will be buried on Monday, 13 May, 2019 at his Yaya Abatan Street, Ogba residence in accordance with Islamic injunctions. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
