FORMER DELTA STATE GOVERNOR EMMANUEL UDUAGHAN BUILDING A CASTLE IN THE AIR

According to the popular axiom which states that; ”A good turn deserves another”, this is not in anywhere related to the recent political ambition of the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, who is planning to occupy a seat at the upper National Assembly in 2019, representing the good people of Delta south at the red chambers.


For those familiar with history, will attest to the fact that; while the former Governor was at the helms of affairs at the oil rich state, his tenure was said to have lacked good governance. He performed below expectation, after failing to deliver most of his campaign promises and dividend of democracy.  Deltans complained vehemently of a lopsided governance, which favoured his constituents more than the others.

Uduaghan’s reign as governor, can be said to be that of the proverbial rattle snake that crawls through the rocky path with no traces. ”We thank God for blessing us with Governor Ifeayin Okowa, who has indeed revamp the state from its dilapidated mode  left by former Governor Uduaghan”, A Delta political chieftain said.

According to a source who told CITYSPY that; ”Emmanuel Uduaghan is a joker. There are lots of factor that will work against him, I don’t want to go into details. After he served as Governor of Delta for 2 term and nothing to show for it, He is coming back to contest for a senatorial seat. He had the opportunity to make Delta on of the best state in Nigeria with our resources, but He was busy empowering some set of people while he left the rest of us to wallow in hardship. Me and majority of the youths in Delta South are solidly behind Senator James Manager, and we are ready to help him clinch the party’s ticket and win the election. He has performed excellently well with laudable projects littered across the constituency, some completed and few under construction. So Uduaghan should go and rest we have had enough of him.”

Another source divulged that; ”Uduaghan would soon chicken out of the senatorial race. Its a matter of time. He wants to try his luck but when the 2019 elections heat comes up, he would be put back to his place. Have you forgotten in 2015, he also chickened out at the last minute. So his agitation at the beginning is normal, when the time comes, we would separate boys from the men. We the good people of Delta South are throwing our weight behind Senator James Manager, the senator representing us. He has done well and he deserves another term at the chambers.”
