According to political source, the current Osun state Governor and former commissioner of works is planning a come back to jostle for the senatorial slot. Ogbeni Aregbesola will be leaving office in 2018, which will give him enough time to position himself for the race to clinch the ticket to run for the senatorial district.
The lingering issue is currently being debated as some political bigwig has faulted the development of Aregbesola coming back to Lagos to contest for Lagos west senatorial seat.
Many people claimed that his relationship with APC chieftain Senator Bola Tinubu might give Governor Aregebesola an edge for clinching the party ticket to vie for the senatorial district but only time will be the umpire.
According to sources close to Princess Adejoke, said ‘The former deputy governor is in talks with top political influencers in the district to support her ambition of securing the ticket and winning the senatorial elections will be a project that must be accomplished’.
