FORMER LAGOS POLICE COMMISSIONER FATAI OWOSENI, NINE OTHER RETIRES FROM POLICE FORCE
The axiom which that states that; ‘The journey of a thousand miles starts and ends with a step’ captures the sweet and heroic ending of a career well spent for super cop and Former Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Mr Fatai Owoseni, along side nine other senior police officers, who retired meritoriously on Saturday 29th of December from the force after 35years of active service.
During Fatai’s Odyssey as Lagos police commissioner in Lagos state between
July 2015 and September 2017, Lagos witness a curb in some criminal activities. The whole city was engulfed in decorum as Lagos was declared one of the safest place to reside in Nigeria. He was replaced by the Imohimi Edgal.

Due to his cordial relationship with his former staffs, they have planned to throw a send forth shindig for him in the new year to celebrate their former boss. A source told CITYSPY that; ”Mr Fatai is a very good man. A friend of the masses and a philanthropist too. If you could remember, when He was Lagos commissioner of police, Lagos was declared a safe place to reside. We felt his impact tremendously. The issue that shocked his detractors was; when a woman was arrested to have stolen an edible item, due to hunger, Fatai secured her bail and gave her money to buy food. This showed that He is a man with an heart of Gold. We are going to celebrate him too in our own small way and we will be sending invites to few guest and close friend of his.”

(CP), Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) and Assistant Commissioner of
Police (ACP) we also reteired.
