IBRAHIM BABANGIDA STILL MISSES LATE WIFE MARYAM, PLANS BIG TO IMMORTALISE HER
Every warrior have their own wish in life, but for former Head of State, Ibrahim Babangida, His greatest wish is to see his late wife, Mariam Babangida return to life. As December 27, is getting closer, Ibrahim Babangida will be remembering his wife’s, 8th year after her shocking demise in the United states of America after she was said to have died of Ovarian Cancer in December 27, 2009.
A close source to the former Military Head of State divulged to CITYSPY that; ‘Babangida is still nurturing the lacuna created in his heart by the demise his wife Maryam. They love each other that even a blind man can feel and see the love between the once two love birds.’
CITYSPY further gathered that; The Former Military President, has concluded his plans to establish a scholarship programme at all levels in Nigerian in memory of his late wife.
The retired army general was said to have made his intention known in a speech read by his friend, Chief Emmanuel Eboh, while addressing the Inaugural Annual Memorial Lecture in honour of the former first lady. The theme of the inaugural lecture is, ‘The Nigeria Woman, Before, During and After the Better Life for Rural Women: A Salute to Maryam Babangida.’
