SEGUN ADEBUTU BREAKS RECORD AS PETROLEX LAUNCHES LARGEST TANK FARM IN WEST AFRICA

History was made on Tuesday the 12th of December as Petrolex Oil and Gas, an upstream indigenous Oil and gas company owned by Oil and Gas big boy Segun Adebutu, son of Premier Lotto boss, Sir Adebutu Kensington, officially launched his Petrolex Tank farm.

The Tank-farm is the largest in Sub-Saharan West Africa, sitting on a 30,000 acers of land with over 600million litres capacity storage, 4,000 truck packing space and accommodation for drivers. The Tank-farm located at Ibefun, Ijebu Ogun State was launched amidst pomp and pageantry as top political dignitaries converged in their large numbers to witness history in the making in Ogun state. On Sunday the 10th of December, First Lady Aisha Buhari, also flew in for a private inspection as she commended the effort of Segun Adebutu for the great feat. she further pledged the support of the presidency.

Top guest spotted at the grand launch were; Vice President Prof Yemi Osibajo, Former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun, Governor of Benue State Samuel Ortom, Governor Of Ondo state Mr Rotimi Akeredolu represented his deputy Hon Agboola Ajayi, Governor of Oyo state Abiola Ajimobi, Senate President Bukola Saraki represented By Senator Dino Melaye, Sir Adebutu Kensington, Minister for state petroleum Mr Ibe Kachukwu, NNPC GMD Mr Baru Mikanti, former Ondo Governor Olusegun Mimiko, Ooni of Ife Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Oba Victor Adeboye among other dignitaries and royal fathers.
