Despite sharing same party ideology with his erstwhile friend, Governor Yahayah Bello of Kogi state, Dino has continue to condem Yahyah’s government of his anti-people policies and excessive back log of unpaid salaries among other issues rocking Kogi state.
CITYSPY gathered that; yesterday, the 25th of October, the vibrant senator during a senate plenary session, went on his kneels to plead to the leadership of the upper National assembly, to save his North central state, Kogi from the hard times they are currently facing. To buttress his pleas, he made series of examples. The latest father of triplets and kogi state civil servant , Edward Soje, committed suicide due to unpaid 11month salary. Also a viral video of a couple weeping profusely over the loss of their child due to their inability to afford funds for treatment because Kogi state government has not paid them salaries. Amidst all this controversies trailing Governor Yahyah, on Wednesday the 25th of October, He banned all form of ‘Student Unionism’ within the state owned tertiary institutions.
The ‘Ajekun Iya’ senator also added that; Governor Yahyah should be questioned on how he spent the ‘Paris Club’ bailout funds disbursed to kogi state which was meant for paying of workers salaries and embark on other state project.
