Temi Otedola’s Childhood Dream Comes through

Temiloluwa Elizabeth Otedola, daughter of Geregu Chairman and Philanthropist, Femi Otedola is currently living her childhood dreams. During her formative years, she had always wanted to have her root deep in fashion and arts. Despite being blessed with an Aristocratic background, laced with a sliver spoon in her mouth, she dares to be different working day and night out to make herself better. In 2014, Temi founded Just Temi Otedola JTO, a fashion Vlog and online platform, where she expresses adventures through fashion, art, travel and photography with massive monthly visit and views.

As a content creator, writer, youtuber and music enthusiast, her viewers all over the world, finds her vlog as a rendezvous point, where they would get trending update on culture, fashion and lifestyle. In the process of her sojourn in life and career path, she is enjoying massive support from her parent and elder sibling while has helped her flourished immensely.

Last year, when she was unveiled as a Cast in the movie of Ace Movie maker; Kunle Afolayan’s ‘Citation’, many doubted her acting prowess and ability to bring to life her ‘Moremi Oluwa’ character to life. Moremi Oluwa is a student of an higher institution who was sexually assaulted by one of her lecturers.

Naysayers doubted her competence and ability to deliever as an actor. Some were of the opinion that; the light skin book lover should stick to her fashion and travelling blogging career instead of exploring a career in acting. To prove her detractors wrong, she dedicated unshaken attention, putting effort to bring life into interpreting her character. A source told CITYSPY that; While the movie was being shot at various location in Lagos, Osun and Senegal, Temi was enjoying what she was doing. She is also a fast learner. “The only issues we had was when it comes to her Yoruba pronunciation and intonation, we had to do extra work by correct her severally. She would make a successful acting career is she decided to fully delve into it. Despite her background, She blended well to the life on set. She respected everyone accordingly and was highly professional more than some actors in then industry. She was always ready to learn.”

Few days ago, excited Temi shared a teaser of the movie on her social media page with emotions oozing from her scribbling. She commended herself for putting up such a wonderful performance in her debut movie as an actor as she thanked those who supported her in achieving such great feat.
