The lanky PR guru and Philanthropist, is a close ally to former Ondo state Governor Olusegun Mimiko making him a major key player in Ondo state political terrain. The smooth talking man has invested a lot in his home town and district, touching lives with his resources from philanthropic donation to skill acquisition for youths.
CITYSPY gathered from a close source that; Tokunbo is being tipped to contest for a senatorial seat at the upper national assembly, representing Ondo North senatorial district under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). We further gathered that, some political leaders and youth within the Ondo North senatorial district, recently held a mega convergence, which resulted to a consensus that Tokunbo Modupe is the man fit for the job for a better representation. Youths and stakeholders revealed that; ”With his vast exposure and intelligence, Tokunbo will give our senatorial district a proper representation at the red chambers. He is close to the grass-root, a friend of the populace, easy to access and we would benefit from his wide connections”.
The close source further divulged that; ”When the youth and party representative met with Tokunbo to deliver the party’s agenda to him, he was dumbfounded but honoured that such magnanimous hope is bestowed on him as he saw it as a call for service to humanity. He is yet to make up his mind”.
