The Lagos Realtors Group (LRG), one of the biggest Real Estate development and marketing companies in Nigeria, has declared support for the candidacy of Prince Kolade Afeez Siyanbola Oladigbolu for the race of Alaafin of Oyo stool.

According to a statement signed by the President of the group and Managing Director of the LRG property development company; Dr Benjamen Clement disclosed that, the association will give full support and enhance the rapid development of Oyo if Prince Kolade is selected and eventually selected and installed the new Alaafin of Oyo. “We will contribute to the development of Oyo by replicating what we are still doing within the Lekki-Ajah axis of Lagos State if our colleague becomes the next Alaafin of Oyo by the virtue of his experience, exposure and flare of the Yoruba culture. We all know what development is all about. It is the key propeller for any community that doesn’t want to remain stagnant when other areas have catapulted from rural to urbanised category.”

“Prince Oladigbolu is a well-known developer who has also contributed to the growth of the real estate sector in Lagos State with properties littered across to show. We have worked together on several occasions and we have transformed forests into habitable communities. Why won’t Oyo allow such a wise person to convert his own domain to an urbanised town if he is given the mantle of leadership as the New Alaafin of Oyo?”

The MD of METROSOFT property and investment company, Mr Oladokun Adeoti, also divulged that; we can’t wait to take development to Oyo. We are developers and we make home ownership easier for Nigerians as part of our contribution to society. “Who could have imagined anyone could acquire a house and pay in instalments for the period of 1 to 2 years as at 20 years ago? We came up with the idea and everyone started keying into it. We are capable of doing the same in Oyo if our colleague is chosen as the next Alaafin of Oyo we would unlock potentials and make the town an economically viable town which will attract more investment opportunities and create direct and indirect jobs for its indigenes.”

“Wherever developers are, development takes centre stage. Unless people don’t give them a peaceful and conducive atmosphere to thrive. We are ready to attract development to Oyo if our colleague emerged as the new Alaafin. If the Oyomesi can find our colleague worthy to occupy the highly coveted Alaafin stool, we will do everything humanly possible to ensure he succeeds in all ramifications and in his quest to take the ancient town to a new level.”Oladokun said.

Prince Afeez Siyanbola Oladigbolu joined Oyo faithful Muslims to perform Eid fitri prayer at oyo Central. The crown prince urged the faithful Muslims to continue their kindness after the month of mercy (Ramadan).

He further stated that the way Muslims round the world stayed calm and showed kindness to those in needy should not be discontinued after the Ramadan.

According to the grandson of the 40th alaafin of oyo, Oba Abubakar siyanbola Oladigbolu. He is personally unhappy with the current situation of the ancient town (oyo)

We don’t have alaafin and Chief Imam. The two vacumes remain unfilled due to the passage of the oba abdul hammed adeyemi the 3rd and late mashood adebayo ajokidero. Chief imam of oyo.

The absence of alaafin has led the town to the state of stagnancy since oba adeyemi joined his ancestors in April 2022.

The young prince challenged the Muslim leaders and communities to be fervent in unstoppable prayer for almighty’s intervention.

The crown prince also addressed the youths to be calm and stay away from violence. Violence Leeds to crime , while crime leads to jail. He further advised the youth to abstain from being used against the government. Nobody or group of people have the capacities to fight the government at any level.
If the political behavioural patern of any candidate is not going down with you, wait for the next election and vote such a candidate out. That is the civil way of reaction. Violence, insults, and most especially courses on our leaders will not change anything , let’s pray for them so that they can always fulfil their campaign promises.

Finally, the youngest contender to the vacant stool of alaafin extended the hand of assistance to the senior citizens.
